Christmas Camp

Christmas camp is for kids aged 5-10.  For returning member Christmas Camp runs 4 mornings, December 27-30.  For those only attending Christmas Camp it runs 3 mornings, December 28-30.  Please email the registrar for a link to register for Christmas camp:  registrar@sasquatchmtnskiclub.com

Athletes must be able to complete a basic turn with a confident stop.  Athletes must also be able to load and unload the chairlift on their own.  If they are not able to load and unload the chairlift on their own a parent/guardian must ride the chairlift with them.

If you child enjoys Christmas camp they may be able to join the Nancy Green Program that runs every Saturday & Sunday from January to mid March.  Space is limited in this program so please check with the registrar to see if there is space or if you would like to be added to the waitlist:registrar@sasquatchmtnskiclub.

Christmas camp is our jump into the season and a fun way to get our kids outside and skiing.  If you are new to the program, please try to have your kids out skiing before the camp. This gives you the opportunity to make sure their equipment is correct and you have reviewed lift and mountain safety. They must be able to load and unload the chairlift and lower and raise the safety bar. Encourage them to ask the lift operator at the bottom and the top to slow the chair down if needed.  Coaches will introduce some drills and games during camp to promote technical development, but the emphasis will be on FUN and ski mileage.
